Firefighter Competes in Police, Fire Olympics

Jarrett Jensen, a Laguna Beach firefighter, was invited to compete in men’s indoor volleyball at the 2011 World Police and Fire Olympics in New York, Aug. 26-Sept. 5.

 

With 18,000 competitors from over 70 countries, he will be on a team with other firefighters from Southern California while representing Laguna Beach Fire Department on his own time.

 

Jensen played collegiate indoor NCAA Division 1 volleyball for UC Irvine and professional sand volleyball prior to pursuing his firefighting career.
