Prop. 30 is Governor Brown’s attempt to blackmail people into a tax increase…BUT…there is nothing that guarantees the money will go to schools. And so it won’t. It will go to the General Fund. It will be spent however the self serving politicians in Sacramento choose to spend it. If you want to vote for a tax increase to help schools, vote for Prop. 38. I’m voting against that too, but at least it would actually go to the schools. Prop. absolutely 30 will not.
