Incident Reports:

Sunday (4/27) Broadway Bus Depot Petty theft 3:10 p.m. A waiting bus passenger reported the theft of his wallet.

CVS Pharmacy Parking Lot Burglary, vehicle 3:24 p.m. A briefcase and an iPod were taken from a Ford Ranger pickup after it had been broken into by an unknown suspect.

Montage Resort & Spa Grand theft 3:52 p.m. A guest of the hotel reported that a Rolex valued at $6000 was missing.

Ocean Avenue Parking Lot Public intoxication 6:48 p.m. David James Perry, 35, no fixed address, was arrested for public intoxication after creating a disturbance.

Monday Laguna Canyon Road at Dog Park DUI; drugs 3:47 a.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Stinson Beach resident Mika Jason DiPaolo, 31, for DUI with a prior conviction. Other charges were added after a search, which turned up about 14 grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with possession and possession for sales of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $25,000.

Three Arch Bay Battery - citizen's arrest 7:47 a.m. A workman reported being hit by two men over a parking dispute. Officersassisted the RP in making citizen's arrests; Salvador Padilla, 47, Capo Beach, and Brandon Padilla, 22, of Anaheim, were both charged with battery.

Thalia Street Beach Vandalism 9:02 a.m. Graffiti was spray painted onto the beach steps, a payphone and a trash dumpster overnight.

Rim Rock Canyon Drive - 400 Block Juveniles - marijuana 1:11 p.m. Three juveniles were cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and released to their parents.

Forest Avenue - 200 Block Juvenile - marijuana 5:03 p.m. The store manager at Quicksilver called police after smelling marijuana emanating from a cabinet. Officerschecked the cabinet and found marijuana inside a bag belonging to a juvenile employee. She was cited and released to her parents.

Glenneyre - 800 Block Public intoxication 11:37 p.m. Cops responded to a report of a man passed out in a parking lot. Mark J. Lane, 50, no fixed address, was arrested for public intoxication.

Tuesday

Ramona Avenue - 600 Block Warrant arrest 6:45 p.m. A patrol officernoticed a man fleewhen seeing the police car and followed him on foot. The man was found hiding and held at gunpoint until secured. Omar Mansour Elmukhtar, 32, Buena Park, had tried to hide to avoid being arrested for a Harbor Court Laguna Hills warrant for misdemeanor possession of under an ounce of pot with bail of $500.

Wednesday Laguna Beach High School Felony vandalism 8:40 a.m. Tagger-style graffiti was discovered on a wall. The cost of removing and repainting exceeded the $400 felony threshold.

Thurston Middle School Theft 1:48 p.m. Three female students reported thefts of an iPod, other items and cash from their backpacks. School administrators deduced that a male student was a suspect. He was confronted and most of the missing items were recovered. The boy was later released to his parents.

N. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Counterfeit 8:26 p.m. A man phoned in a pickup order to Gina's Pizza and used a phony $100 bill to pay the tab.

Thursday Grandview Street - 200 Block Vandalism 8:50 a.m. A garage window was smashed overnight.

S. Coast Hwy - 500 Block Grand theft 2:29 p.m. While the owner of a gallery had stepped out for a short while leaving his door unlocked, someone entered and made off with paintings.

Broadway Bus Depot Public intoxication 10:37 p.m. Edward Nixon, 56, no fixed address, was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Friday Fairview Street - 200 Block Burglary, vehicle 7:41 a.m. A wallet containing the RP's ID and credit cards and a cell phone were taken when a SUV was broken into overnight.

La Mirada Street - 1000 Block Grand theft 9:07 a.m. A resident discovered fiveloose diamonds stored in a baggie were missing since being last seen two months ago.

Agate Street - 300 Block Grand theft 12:12 p.m. The valet firmparking cars at Mozambique reported an employee failed to make a $2000 cash deposit or turn up for work.

Ledroit Street - 200 Block Grand theft 3:22 p.m. Jewelry and other items were missing from a home.

N. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Public intoxication 7:35 p.m. Mark Sipprelle, 44, was arrested for 647F.

S. Coast Hwy - 1800 Block DUI, ++++ 10:22 p.m. An older model BMW was stopped after the driver had been observed swerving by a cell caller. Aliso Viejo resident Bill Wright Wills, 19, was arrested for DUI, driving without a license and driver in possession of marijuana. He was also taken into custody for a pair of outstanding warrants. One was from Harbor Court with a charge of having sex with a person under 18 with bail of $25,000 and the other for FTA possession of under an ounce of marijuana.

Saturday

South Coast Medical Center ER Battery 12:27 a.m. An officerat the hospital was contacted by ER staff about a man in the emergency room with facial injuries. The 18-year-old male had been in a fight with a named juvenile male. Detectives are investigating the report.

Cliff Drive - 200 Block Public intoxication x 2 1:44 a.m. Two women called police reporting that a man they had met in a bar had followed them home and remained outside their residence. San Clemente resident Timothy David Balint, 39 and John Sutorius, 33, of Ohio, were both arrested for 647F.

S. Coast Hwy & Legion Street Defrauding an innkeeper 10:27 a.m. A valet reported that a gray Toyota had taken off without paying the parking fee.

Bolsana Drive - 700 Block Verbal threats 10:33 a.m. A father reported that his teenage son had received verbal threats from another male teen.

Lower Cliff Drive - 100 Block Violation of a court order 3:14 p.m. A neighbor reported a disturbance in a nearby apartment. Police arrived and restored the peace before leaving with Irvine resident Jacob Cho. He was arrested for violating a court protection order.

S. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Battery 11:52 p.m. A man reported that another man "…put his hands down…" the RP's pants. The RP described the suspect as in his mid 20s with high cheekbones, short black hair wearing a white waiter's jacket. An area search by police was unsuccessful.
