Soroptimists Make Pledge to Senior Center

The American Association of University Women Laguna Beach Foundation has significantlyincreased funds available to support local social and educational needs in the community. Opening for Vietnam Vets in Parade
A group of local Vietnam veterans are seeking area veterans to walk with them in the Patriot's Day Parade on March 1. The group has reserved a spot for veterans in the parade since 1985. Veterans are encouraged to wear their old uniforms to the parade, which begins at 11 a.m. and covers about six blocks. The group will meet between 9 a.m. Full Story
League Assisted by Local Youth
An aspiring Eagle scout, Christopher "Chip" Waller, chose the Early Intervention Program of the Laguna Beach Assistance League as his focus for earning his 21st merit badge. Waller is a Laguna Hills resident and junior at Saint Margaret's High School in San Juan Capistrano. He started as a scout in first grade, shortly after moving to California. Full Story

Ebell Club president Murphy Gerber and Judy MacPherson offer a donation to Tonja Becwar, coordinator of the Laguna Beach-based CSP Youth Shelter, who described for club members the shelter's role in helping troubled youth throughout south county. Local Who's Who to Hit the Catwalk
"Successorize" is the theme for the 9th annual Only in Laguna fashion show, scheduled to be held on March 13 at Tivoli Too.
