Officersreviewed a video surveillance tape and were able to identify the suspect. He was spotted on Ocean Avenue and taken into custody. Alexander Anderson Harris, 59, was charged with petty theft. Broadway - 200 Block Warrant arrest 1:31 a.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Dana Point resident Narda Yolanda Hashemi, 47, on a Harbor Court warrant with a charge of driving with a license revoked or suspended for a conviction for DUI. Bail was set at $15,000. Chiquita Street - 200 Block Child endangerment 3:25 a.m. As reported above, Laguna Beach resident Luke Story Rogers, 18, was arrested for DUI. With him at the time was a 17-year-old girl, also from Laguna Beach. When police learned that Rogers, despite his age, had prior DUI arrests, the felony charge of child endangerment ($100,000 bail) was added. The girl was taken to the police department and released to her parents. N. Coast Hwy - 100 Block Verbal threats 10:28 a.m. A man told police that a known suspect had threatened him by saying he would shoot the RP's friends and family. Forest Avenue - 200 Block Shoplifting 11:07 a.m. A man attempted to leave Hobie Sports without paying for two items. Exit sensors sounded and an employee was able to stop the man and recover the merchandise. Police were called and from the description located the suspect on Main Beach. After the Hobie employee identified the suspect, he was arrested. He was searched and police found food items valued at $40 from Whole Foods Market in his pockets. The market allowed police to review their surveillance video and the suspect was seen pilfering the items. Larry Philip Altman, 51, Costa Mesa, was charged with commercial burglary and bail was set at $20,000. Wednesday Laguna Canyon Rd - 2100 Block Vandalism 10:04 a.m. A man reported that after losing a wheel while driving, an auto repair facility informed him that the lug nuts to all four wheels had been loosened. He provided a named suspect. Laguna Canyon Road - 1100 Block Battery 10:25 a.m. Officersassisted a female in making a citizen's arrest of Rod Allen Norwood, 39, Costa Mesa, on a charge of battery. N. Coast Hwy - 1000 Block Vandalism 2:28 p.m. A business discovered what appeared to be a bullet hole in a display window. S. Coast Hwy & Brooks Street Public intoxication 8:15 p.m. Officersresponded to a disturbance call at Thalia St where they were directed further south. There, they encountered Costa Mesa resident Angelica Miller, 19, and took her into custody for public intoxication. Thursday Thalia Street - 200 Block Warrant arrest 8:23 a.m. Jeffrey Paul Carmichael, 49, homeless was arrested for a Harbor Court warrant for FTA disorderly conduct - peeping. S. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Warrant arrest 9:08 a.m. Robert John Shaw, 49, homeless, was taken into custody for two outstanding Harbor Court warrants - both for FTA public intoxication with bail of $5000. Circle Way - 1300 Block Grand theft 11:38 a.m. A backpack containing a laptop and cash was stolen. Jasmine Street - 400 Block Misuse of 9-1-1 9:41 p.m. After being told he was committing a crime by misusing the 9-1-1 emergency system, police went to the home of Martin Lowry, 30, when he made a sixth call. He was arrested for making repeated 9-1-1 calls with the intent to annoy or harass. Marine Drive - 1100 Block Warrant arrest 11:47 p.m. Police were called by a resident who complained about a man sleeping on the beach. Bret Thomas Clark, 28 of Hawaii, was arrested on a Marin County traffic warrant with $7500 bail. Friday Pavilions Parking Lot Buy bust - drug arrests 12:27 p.m. Undercover narcotics officersobserved the sale of crack cocaine in the store parking lot and arrested two Fontana women for transportation and sales of a controlled substance - a felony. Kimberly Renee Ruff, 40, and Kyuna Renee Hayley, 22, were both held in lieu of $30,000 bail each. S. Coast Hwy & Blue Lagoon DUI + drugs 9:01 p.m. After being taken into custody for DUI (see above), a drug recognition expert determined that David Joseph Galiazzo, 33, Laguna Beach, could be also charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance. During the arrest, police learned that Galiazzo was on probation and conducted a search www.AdvancedAwareness. com of his S. Coast Hwy residence. As a result, he was charged with felony possession of heroin and his probation was revoked. He was taken to Santa Ana and held without bail. Chiquita Street - 200 Block Petty thefts 9:06 p.m. $100 in cash was taken. The victim provided a named suspect to police. N. Coast Hwy - 200 Block Public intoxication 11:19 p.m. Laguna Beach resident Matthew Allen Rogan, 21, was arrested for public intoxication. Saturday Broadway - 200 Block Warrants 1:19 a.m. Mark Won Fleming, 59, was taken into custody for three Orange County bench warrants, all for FTA drinking in public. Solana Way - 2700 Block Burglary, vehicle 12:53 p.m. A trunk was popped to steal a set of golf clubs. Sunday S. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Vandalism 2:28 a.m. Glass front doors were smashed. Skyline Drive - 1300 Block Burglary, vehicle 9:21 a.m. A window was broken out of a Mercedes C320 to gain access and swipe a briefcase. Glenneyre - 600 Block Burglary, residential 9:53 a.m. Someone kicked in the front door of a home. Losses were undetermined by a house sitter but damage to the door was estimated to be $4000. S. Coast Hwy & Cleo Street Public intoxication 2:52 p.m. A homeless man, Curtis Abbott, 43, was arrested for public intoxication. S. Coast Hwy - 1300 Block Vandalism 3:21 p.m. A bench and other items were damaged. Glenneyre & Thalia Street Warrants 11:46 p.m. Ronald Ronneburger, 51, was arrested for three Riverside warrants. One was for public intoxication while the other two had felony charges of grand larceny with bail of $25,000.
