Laguna Culinary Arts Takes Green Pledge

Laguna Culinary Arts is using more eco-friendly "green" paper products that are either made from recycled materials or from materials that degrade in landfills.

Cups and containers are now made of 100 percent corn products and the "clam shell" type of to-go containers are now made from sugar fiber. Those items decompose and disappear in under two weeks if they happen to end up in the ocean.

Paper towels, parchment paper and napkins on the premises of the cooking school and cheese shop are now all made from recycled materials.
