Van Cliburn Piano Contest Winner Performs

Local Laguna Beach Live! presents Drew Mays, the first prize winner of the 2007 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition for amateurs in concert on Apr. 5 at 8 p.m., at the Laguna Beach Artists' Theatre, 625 Park Avenue.

Mays' program will include Mephisto Waltz by Liszt, part of his winning performance in the Van Cliburn final round, as well as works by Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Chopin.
