Tuesday

Stans Lane - 21400 Block Warrant service 8:34 a.m. Laguna Beach resident Cameron Jeffery Boyd, 38, was arrested on an OC warrant with charges of possession of a hypodermic needle and unlicensed driver.

N. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Vandalism 10:11 a.m. A bullet hole was discovered in a display window.

N. Coast Hwy - 1500 Block Annoying calls 10:48 a.m. Numerous harassing calls have been received from a known suspect.

Heisler Park Public intoxication 11:18 a.m. Marlin Andrew Kistner, 57, was arrested for 647F.

Glenneyre & St. Ann's Drive Warrant arrest 11:06 p.m. Wants and warrants checked during a traffic stop led to the arrest of Steven Laguna Soto, 60, of Newport Beach for an unspecified North Court warrant.

Wednesday

Ocean Avenue Parking Lot Warrant arrest 2:01 a.m. Huntington Beach resident Martin Gifton Jones, 46, was taken into custody during a traffic stop for a Compton Court DUI warrant with bail set at $27,000.

Coast Hwy & Broadway DUI, drugs, warrants 2:15 a.m. When Rafael Raymond Davila, 39, Huntington Beach, was arrested for DUI, he gave officersa name other than his own. When he was searched, police found cocaine and he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony. After he had been booked, the state's fingerprint database revealed his correct name and an OC Superior Court warrant for DUI, providing police with false information, driver's license charges and misidentifying himself as another existing person.

High Drive - 100 Block Grand theft 10:38 a.m. A resident reported discovering that valuables were missing from a box in the garage - a box that the RP last checked two years ago.

Main Beach Petty theft 11:43 a.m. A man who often plays chess near the old lifeguard tower provided police with the name of a possible suspect when his cell phone was stolen.

Virginia Way - 31800 Block Vandalism 1:13 p.m. The owner of a rental home reported that damages had been done to the interior and suspects a former tenant.

Catalina Street - 600 Block Warrant arrest 1:16 p.m. Cyrus Polk, 26, Laguna Beach, was arrested for two Harbor Court warrants with charges of FTA DUI and driving on a license suspended or revoked for a DUI conviction.

Coast Hwy - 31700 Block Warrants + 5:33 p.m. Mark Nedwin Herness, 53, no fixed address, was taken into custody for two Harbor Court warrants, both with alcohol related charges.

N. Coast Hwy - 1400 Block Grand theft 10:15 p.m. A guest at Crescent Bay Inn reported that while he was out of his room for an hour, all of his clothes and a laptop were missing. After taking the report, the officerlocated the missing clothing and computer in a bag tossed onto a nearby parking lot.

Thursday

Balboa Avenue - 700 Block Petty theft 9:43 a.m. A homeowner awakened to findthat four fruit trees had been taken from his backyard as he slept. Two peach trees, a lemon tree and an apple tree that had recently been planted were taken out of the ground.

Coast Hwy - 31700 Block Grand theft 12:17 p.m. A scanner was stolen from a truck.

Whole Foods Market Shoplifting 5:44 p.m. A store employee followed three suspects at a safe distance after items had been taken from the market. Police were able to make contact with the suspects on Broadway Place. The RP made a positive identificationin the field and after investigating, a Laguna Beach man, Kyle Wolhuter, 18, was charged with commercial burglary, a felony. Alex Vasquez, 18, also from Laguna Beach, was cited for possession of under an ounce of marijuana, a misdemeanor.

Three Arch Bay (S. La Senda) Vandalism, vehicle 9:06 p.m. A vehicle was tagged by a group of youths that the RP believed had gone to the beach.

Ocean Avenue - 200 Block Battery 11:52 a.m. A bouncer at a nearby establishment called police to report hearing what sounded like two females fighting in a city parking lot. Police arrived on scene and restored the piece and took a report at the behest of one combatant.

Friday

S. Coast Hwy & Bluebird Canyon Drive Warrant arrest 9:36 a.m. Burton Edward Shefco, 66, Laguna Beach, was taken into custody for a petty theft warrant during a traffic stop.

Broadway - 500 Block Vandalism, vehicle 12:27 p.m. A car parked in a city lot was keyed.

Treetop Lane - 21600 Block Warrant arrest 1:46 p.m. A patrol officercame across a parked pickup truck with expired registration. When ran the plate was checked, it was verified and also showed that the owner had a $1,500 warrant. The officerwalked over to a nearby construction site and asked who owned the truck. The owner, Rafael Godinez Farios, 43, Vallejo, came out and was arrested for the Harbor Court traffic warrant.

Saturday

S. Coast Hwy - 1100 Block Warrant arrest 11:14 a.m. Perla Aldama Serrano, 47, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a West Court warrant for FTA public intoxication with bail of $10,000.

N. Coast Hwy & Boat Canyon Drive DUI +++ 3:01 p.m. A cell caller informed police about a 1997 black Lincoln stretch limo that was being driven "erratically and recklessly" on PCH headed southbound toward town. Additionally, passengers were alternately "hanging out of the windows." The caller, who had given the dispatcher the license plate number, remained on the line until the limo stopped at Boat Canyon where police made contact. Officershad already learned that the plates on the limo were stolen from a Los Angeles county limo company. The driver and three passengers were cleared from the limo at gunpoint because of the stolen plates. Police said the driver, later identified as Ali Champion Amira, 41, Huntington Beach, was "immediately uncooperative and providing false names." He had to be restrained at the scene, where he was charged with DUI and possession of stolen property (the plates). He was also held for two Torrance Court warrants on charges of making annoying phone calls and making terrorist threats. The third warrant was for battery of a cohabitant and felony vandalism without bail. The three passengers, two young adults and a 17-year-old, weren't held but told police that they were walking in Huntington Beach when Amira offered them a free ride in his limo.

S. Coast Hwy & Calliope Street No bail warrant 7:47 p.m. A traffic stop revealed that Eddie Lee Gray, 27, Lake Elsinore, was wanted by the California Dept. of Justice for parole violation. He was held without bail.

Diamond Street - 100 Block DUI & felony warrant 11:58 p.m. After being arrested for DUI, Newport Coast resident John Crowe, 23, was also held on a warrant with charges of felony grand theft and petty theft.

Sunday

Gainsborough Place - 700 Block Burglary, residential 12:21 a.m. A homeowner returned from out of town to a home that had been ransacked. The RP said a house sitter had run several people from the house Saturday night that were having a party.
