Incident Reports:

Sunday Alta Vista Way - 200 Block Burglary, residential 10 a.m. A caretaker reported that a garage had been broken into. Losses were unspecified awaiting the homeowner's return.

Tablerock Drive - 31500 Block Burglary, residential 10:42 a.m. The RP provided police with information about a possible suspect when a diamond necklace, earrings and a topaz ring were missing.

Bluff Drive - 31500 Block Grand theft 11:13 a.m. A briefcase containing a laptop, a projector and sunglasses was taken from, the trunk of an unlocked vehicle parked in the RP's driveway.

Ruby Street - 300 Block Vandalism, vehicle 4:25 p.m. The RP provided a named suspect after a vehicle had been keyed.

Monday - Cinco de Mayo S. Coast Hwy - 1400 Block Burglary, commercial 3:29 a.m. Police found an open door with pry marks and a smashed display window at the Koffee Klatch. The owner arrived on scene and estimated that $138 in cash had been taken from the register (the drawer was missing) and a tip jar.

S. Coast Hwy - 1000 Block Burglary, commercial 5:12 a.m. Although police cannot conclusively connect a smashed display window at Laguna Coffee Company with Koffee Klatch, the incidents are certainly similar. In this case, the loss was only $10 in missing change.

Sunset Ridge - 1500 Block Grand theft 10:17 a.m. Copper wire was stolen from a job site.

S. Coast Hwy & Ocean Avenue Felony warrants 10:40 p.m. Garden Grove resident Monica Francine Gonzalez, 19, was arrested for two felony warrants during a routine traffic stop. One was out of West Court and the other from North Court and both were for felony grand theft.

Tuesday Pearl Street - 700 Block Fraud; grand theft 7:41 a.m. A business bank account was hacked into, probably through the use of online banking, to transfer $9600 into another account in a different bank. The RP was unable to provide police any possible suspect info but detectives are working with the RP's bank to trace the receiving account.

Laguna Canyon Road - 1100 Block Burglary, residential 10:22 a.m. At sometime over the weekend, while the RP was out of town, a padlock was removed on a shed. The RP said $1250 in electronics gear was missing.

Coast Hwy - 30800 Block Burglary 4:14 p.m. While Montage guests were out of their room using the gym, someone took a white gold diamond wedding ring that had been placed on a bathroom counter. The victim told police that housekeeping had been inside the room during the timeframe.

Santa Ana Probation violation 4:32 p.m. Laguna detectives went to Santa Ana to arrest Robert J. Guinther, 54, no fixed address, for no bail probation violation stemming from a prior arrest in Laguna. He was taken to Santa Ana jail where he was held without bail.

Wednesday S. Coast Hwy & Thalia Street Burglary, vehicle 3:55 a.m. The owner of a Honda Civic called 9-1-1 to report that she had heard her car window being smashed and had seen someone running toward the beach. Police were unable to locate a suspect who had taken an iPod and a painting from the Honda.

Catalina Street - 500 Block Grand theft 8:41 a.m. A catalytic converter with a $600 replacement cost was stolen overnight.

Laguna Canyon Road - 1100 Block Grand theft 12:35 p.m. A man hired by the RP is suspected of taking $400 in cash and the pink slip to her mobile home.

Treasure Island Park Felony warrant arrest 9:40 p.m. Officersresponded to a report of a disturbance on the beach walk and detained three people. Wants and warrants were checked and Tustin resident Danielle Marie Chappell, 19, was taken into custody on a Central Court felony warrant with a charge of grand theft. The two other people were released.

Thursday S. Coast Hwy - 1200 Block Vandalism Noon. A business owner discovered that an outside wall and a planter had been tagged with graffiti.Plants were pulled out of the planter and broken

Park Place - 2800 Block Petty theft 1:08 p.m. An iPod was taken from an unlocked car.

Pavilions Market Shoplifting ++ 5:58 p.m. Pavilions employees detained a man for stealing a sandwich, a bag of salad and a bottle of rum until police arrived. After an investigation, Bryan Edward Boatright, 52, no fixed address, was taken into custody for felony commercial burglary after admitting he entered the store without money. His true identity was learned when he was booked. Police said he admitted using his brother's name. He had a reason when a Dept. of Justice warrant for no bail parole violation turned up.

Glenneyre - 600 Block Public intoxication 7:21 p.m. Eli Lopiccola, 35, was taken into custody for public intoxication after police received a complaint of a disturbance.

Friday Cliff Drive - 500 Block Burglary, residential 5:13 p.m. An unknown person or persons who ransacked the interior broke into a home through a rear door.

Broadway Bus Depot Warrant arrest 7:35 p.m. Melvin Moss, 53, no fixed address, was arrested for warrants from two OC courts with unspecified charges.

S. Coast Hwy - 500 Block Counterfeit 8:32 p.m. A female with red hair ran from a store when an employee discovered that the $100 bill she had used to pay for a purchase was bogus. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

Bluebird Canyon Drive - 700 Block False ID; marijuana 10:56 p.m. A caller complained about several "juveniles in the street with beer bottles." On scene, police detained three juvies for curfew violation and arrested Aliso Viejo resident Chase Austin, 18, for possession of a false ID and possession of under an ounce

of marijuana.

Saturday

Catalina Street & St. Ann's Drive DUI + + + 12:01 a.m. A traffic stop of a blacked out vehicle resulted in the arrest of Jose Alfredo Hernandez Pacheco, 21, for DUI, driving without a license and driver in possession of marijuana. Leonardo Albarran, 20, a passenger, was taken into custody for a Harbor Court Laguna Hills warrant for FTA minor in possession of alcohol in public. He was also issued a citation for possession of under an ounce of marijuana.

Main Beach Indecent exposure 12:40 p.m. Officerswent to Main Beach after receiving a call about a man exposing himself near the old lifeguard tower. Police found the suspect, who was wearing only a "…t-shirt and a pair of tight fitting boxer shorts with his penis hanging out…" Jorge Sagero, 25, Santa Ana, was arrested for indecent exposure.

Flora Street - 300 Block DUI + + + 8:47 p.m. Police responded to a report of a traffic crash on the residential street. On scene, officerssaw that several parked cars had been hit and found Nicholas Virgil Bowden, 29, Laguna Beach, on the curb. He was transported to SCMC for treatment and later arrested there for DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance. It was also learned that he was on active parole and he was ordered held without bail for violation of parole and taken to the Santa Ana city jail for pickup.

Sunday Ocean Avenue & Beach Street Warrant arrest 1:36 a.m. Melvin Omar Bruno, 28, was taken into custody for a Harbor Court Laguna Hills warrant with a charge of FTA possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
