City Leaders Serve as Charm Tour Guides

The popular Village Laguna Charm House Tour sets out Sunday, May 18. Last year, 800 visitors participated as part of the city's celebration of its heritage in May. Civic leaders will be among the home and bus guides. The 36th annual Charm House Tour will feature fivenorth Laguna Beach homes. Full Story

Connells to Lead Legion in '08
Laguna Beach's American Legion Post 222 installed new officersfor the coming year on Thursday, May 8, electing Dave Connell to serve as commander for the third time in 10 years. In an unusual arrangement Connell's wife, Diane, will also serve as president, but of the post's Auxiliary. She has held the top job for eight years. Full Story
Benefit Doubles its Net for Resource Center
Over 50 volunteers and 40 boutiques joined together on May 7 to hold the second annual Boutique Benefit, a shopping extravaganza stocked solely with donations from local retail shops and the closets of generous Laguna Beach residents. Full Story

Church Hosts Family Night Out

Approximately 150 guests celebrated Laguna Beach Community Clinic's second annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta at Villa San Lorenzo, the home of James and Kathy Conrad in Upper Three Arch Bay on May 4. Over $20,000 was raised for the programs of the clinic. Full Story
