On a near 100-degree Monday, about 20 members of the public, elected and appointed officials and city staff sized up the state of affairs downtown by taking an hour-long walk at street level. Cyclist Dies in Head-on Collision
An Irvine man was fatally injured Sunday morning when his 2004 BMW motorcycle was struck by a car that veered across traffic lanes. Bruce Gold, 61, died that evening at Mission Hospital after surgery. His death was the first vehicular fatality in Laguna Beach in nearly two years. Full Story
