Sunday - May 11 Thurston Middle School Vandalism 9:46 a.m. Graffiti was discovered on the outside wall of the gym and auditorium. The RP provided possible suspect(s) information.

Police Department Petty Theft 11:22 a.m. Two different women reported purse thefts Saturday night while they were in a club.

Monday Police Department Sexual Battery 11:41 a.m. A woman came to the station to make a report. Detectives are investigating further.

Laguna Canyon Road - 1900 Block Burglary, Commercial 12:59 p.m. A welding machine and cables valued at $1900 were taken from the officeat a job site over the weekend.

Paseo Del Sur - 22100 Block Fraud; ID Theft 2:25 p.m. The RP's personal information was used to access accounts with Citibank and AOL for $1400.

S. Coast Hwy - 100 Block Vandalism 4:47 p.m. Plexiglas at the Regency Theatre was damaged.

Wednesday S. Coast Hwy - 1400 Bl Parole Violation; Public Intoxication 12:38 a.m. Responding to a report of a disturbance, officersinterviewed Franklin Jonah Jones, 50, Laguna Niguel, who was taken into custody for public intoxication. Nearby, an officerspotted Laguna Beach resident Jason William Brown, 38, wanted on an outstanding Dept. of Corrections no bail parole violation warrant. Brown was arrested after the warrant was confirmed.

S. Coast Hwy - 1500 Block Keep the Peace 1:53 p.m. A "repo" man who hooked up a 2005 Maserati GranSport called police asking for assistance. He explained that before lifting the vehicle to tow, the owner jumped inside and refused to leave his car. Officersfound irregularities in the vehicle's registration. Police towed the car for expired registration and a DMV hold.

N. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Theft 6:14 p.m. A Pavilions Pharmacy technician was detained by the store manager after a review of a surveillance tape revealed that the employee had taken a small amount of prescription meds. Maria Mimi Schreiber, 39, Huntington Beach was arrested.

Coast Hwy & Wesley Drive Warrant Arrest 8:44 p.m. Wants and warrants checked during a traffic stop hit on a Compton Court warrant for Melvin Alexander Henry, 34, of Torrance, for FTA possession of under an ounce of marijuana with bail of $27,000.

Thursday St. Ann's Drive - 300 Block Public Intoxication 6:39 a.m. Melvin Walker Moss, no fixed address, was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Friday Glenneyre & St. Ann's Drive Public Intoxication 4:14 a.m. Todd Johnson, 43, was arrested for public intoxication.

Broadway - 200 Block Felony Warrant Arrest 11:29 a.m. Mark John Lane, 50, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a felony North Court warrant. Charges: grand theft and petty theft.

S. Coast Hwy - 1700 Block Vandalism, Vehicle 3:30 p.m. A victim provided police with a possible named suspect after his Mercedes was damaged on Wednesday.

S. Coast Hwy - 1200 Block Verbal Threats 7:11 p.m. A business reported that a "disheveled" man had twice yelled threats in the store.

Saturday S. Coast Hwy - 1200 Block Public Intoxication 2:23 a.m. Laguna Beach resident John Chaney, 60, was arrested for public intoxication

Police Department Battery 10:10 a.m. A female reported that she had been punched by another female while at a party in town Friday night.

S. Coast Hwy - 900 Block Vandalism 1:50 p.m. For the second time, a tree in front of the RP's home was poisoned.

Forest Avenue - 200 Block Warrant Arrest 4:59 p.m. Dieeuv Truong, 27, Costa Mesa, was arrested for an unspecified Harbor Court warrant during a traffic stop.

Broadway - 200 Block Urinating in Public + 5:51 p.m. A patrol officerdriving by saw a man urinating in a parking lot. Marco Antonio Mercado, 27, Rialto, was arrested for disorderly conduct. When it was determined that Mercado didn't have documentation, he was turned over to ICE.

N. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Shoplifting 6:44 p.m. Jessica Pauline Graham, 21, Huntington Beach, was charged with petty theft after shoplifting at Pavilions.

Sunday Coast Hwy & West Street Drugs 12:46 a.m. A patrol unit made contact with a man who was unloading tree branches from the back of a pickup parked on Coast Highway. The officerinformed a man later identified as Westminster resident Chase Norton, 19, that beach bonfiresare illegal. After Norton left to get his girlfriend, police spotted marijuana in the car. Officersfound him and others at a beach bonfire.Norton and Cory James Booth, 21, of Westminster were both charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Chantel Beckel, 18, Westminster, was also arrested for being under the influence of ecstasy.

Heisler Park Public Intoxication 9:34 a.m. Ronnie Richard Spain, 54, no fixed address, was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Aliso Beach Burglary, Vehicle 5:39 p.m. A man returned from the beach to findthat someone had broken into his car to take an iPod, speakers and an amplifier.

Laguna Canyon Road - 800 Block Traffic Arrest 6:18 p.m. Roselba Rodriguez Garcia, 34, of Dana Point, was arrested for driving without a license.

Coast Hwy - 30800 Block Defrauding an Innkeeper 12:11 a.m. (Monday 5/19) Guests left Montage Resort & Spa without paying a spa and restaurant bill of $1155.18. The woman who had registered gave a Laguna Beach address that police checked to no avail. The car she drove was registered in Newport Beach. That department went to the location and informed LBPD that no one there had ever heard of the suspect.
