Two Girls Compete in Dive Events beach

Mackenzie Peasley Two local divers competed June 7 at the Dive San Diego Invitational in Carlsbad.

Mackenzie Peasley won a gold medal for the 9 & under 3-meter event and a silver medal in the Junior Olympic 1-meter event.

Liv Mitchell won a bronze medal in the 9 & under 1-meter novice event.

Both girls compete June 27-29 for the Crown Valley Divers at the Lee Brennan Memorial Invitational in Laguna Niguel.
