Incident Reports:

Monday - June 30 S. Coast Hwy - Numerous Locations Vandalism 9:10 a.m. The front widows of at least 10 businesses in the 1100 and 1200 blocks were "scratched" with gang-like graffiti.

Laguna Canyon Road - 1900 Block Stolen Car 10:51 a.m. A 1996 dark green Mustang convertible was stolen.

N. Coast Hwy - 100 Block Vandalism 11:12 a.m. The Mobil station reported that a female customer damaged a gas pump nozzle.

Glenneyre - 1300 Block Burglary, vehicle 8:48 p.m. A window was smashed on a Ford Expedition for access. Losses were not disclosed.

Tuesday - July 1 S. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Burglary, commercial 2:42 p.m. Television sets were swiped out of two rooms at the Holiday Inn.

Aliso Beach Burglary, vehicle 5:46 p.m. Cash was taken from clothes pockets inside a locked Ford F350 pickup. The suspect overlooked a handgun that was in the center console.

Wednesday - July 2 Wells Fargo Parking Lot Resisting + 12:06 a.m. A patrol unit on Ocean Avenue saw a man cross the street into the bank's parking lot, walk behind a parked car and begin urinating. When the police car drove into the lot with its overhead lights on, the man took off running toward the beach. When Mission Viejo resident Christopher Bowsher, 20, ran into a gas station at Coast Hwy and Broadway, another patrol unit was waiting for him. Police said Bowsher kept running and jumped onto the hood of the cop car where he was caught. He was arrested for resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer and possession of another person's driver's license. Police said Bowsher said it was a friend's license - a 21-year-old friend.

Laguna Canyon Road - 600 Block Under the Influence 12:33 a.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of an Oregon man, Cameron Brabham, 27, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Laguna Canyon Road - 21000 Block Grand Theft 4:09 p.m. The RP learned that the catalytic converter was stolen from his Toyota 4-Runner when La Habra police called. He was advised to make a report right away and have LBPD call them with the report number. La Habra had two suspects in custody.

Forest Avenue & Broadway Drugs 4:46 p.m. A cell caller told police that a woman headed into town on Laguna Canyon Road was drinking a "Miller". The Subaru Forrester was stopped at Broadway and Forest where Halley Sherman, 27, Oak Hills and Stuart Baker, 47, were arrested for felony possession of psilocybin, marijuana and prescription pills.

St. Ann's Drive - 400 Block Fraud; ID Theft 5:33 p.m. An unknown suspect purchased over $7000 in jewelry in City of Industry and charged it using the RP's personal data.

Main Beach Public Intoxication + 7:12 p.m. Colleen Lamp, 33, Corona del Mar, was arrested for public intoxication and Alexander Anderson Harris, 60, Laguna Beach, was taken into custody for urinating in public.

S. Coast Hwy ñ 300 Block Warrants 8:06 p.m. Eric Rich, 46, no fixed address, was arrested for two FTA public intoxication warrants with bail of $20,000 each.

Thursday - July 3 Laguna Canyon Drive - 2300 Block Grand Theft 11:32 a.m. The catalytic converter on a Toyota pickup was removed and taken overnight.

S. Coast Hwy - 600 Block Felony Warrant Arrest 4:07 p.m. Daniel Lopez, 24, of Dana Point, learned the meaning of the long arm of the law. A man called police from a payphone at a gas station and said he'd been stabbed in Dana Point - in 2005 - and the suspect had never been caught. The caller went on to say that he'd just left the White House where he'd seen the suspect. Police questioned Lopez there and learned that the OC Sheriff's south OC office had an outstanding '05 warrant charging him with felony assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $50,000.

Independence Day S. Coast Hwy - 1100 Block Petty Theft 1:57 a.m. A woman reported that her cell phone had been stolen.

S. Coast Hwy - 100 Block Vandalism 12:25 p.m. Graffiti was found on a Caltrans box.

Coast Hwy & Wesley Drive Warrant Arrest 2:53 p.m. Riverside resident Omar Reyna, 28, was taken into custody for a San Bernardino traffic warrant during a traffic stop.

S. Coast Hwy - 900 Block Counterfeit 4:32 p.m. Bogus $100 bills were passed by a man at Goko Café and Thalia Surf Shop.

South Coast Medical Center Warrant Arrest 6:39 p.m. Officers responded to a call from hospital security asking for assistance during a disturbance. On scene, Eli Lopiccola, 36, Laguna Beach, was arrested on a Harbor Court warrant with charges of FTA - public intoxication.

Laguna Canyon Road - 2400 Block Drug Arrest 8:14 p.m. Officers responded to a complaint about a loud party and left with three people in custody for drug possession. Gerben Rudolf Zwaga, 31, Costa Mesa, Eduardo Zwaga, 30, Reseda, and Lilian Moya, 25, were all arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Moya was also charged with transportation of a controlled substance for sales.

Shaw's Cove Vandalism 10:34 p.m. Electrical boxes were tagged.

Saturday - July 5 S. Coast Hwy - 1500 Block Petty Theft 2:28 p.m. A man grabbed four bottles of booze from the bar at Surf & Sand and ran north on the sand carrying a bag. Police were unable to locate the suspect during an area search.

N. Coast Hwy - 200 Block Grand Theft 3:24 a.m. A man standing on the balcony of his hotel room was surprised to see a man walk into the parking lot below and begin trying car doors. When the suspect found one that wasn't locked, it just happened to belong to the man on the balcony. He called police describing the suspect who had taken items from his car and was last seen on foot northbound. Police did an area search and found Alexander Clausen walking on Cliff Drive at Jasmine St. He was in possession of a volleyball, a GPS and a memory card that had been in the RP's car. He was arrested without incident.

Glenneyre & Laguna Avenue Assault with a Deadly Weapon 10:11 a.m. A man told police he was walking in a crosswalk and a female coworker had tried to hit him with her car.

Ocean Avenue Public Parking Lot Public Intoxication 9:57 p.m. Robert C. Todd Dannelly, 38, Riverside was arrested for public intoxication.

Sunday - July 6 Forest Avenue - 200 Block Warrant Arrest 2:58 a.m. Wants and warrants check during a traffic stop led to the arrest of Irvine resident Ahmed Mohamed Alfalahi, 22, for an outstanding Harbor Court traffic warrant.

Park Avenue - 500 Block Petty Theft 3:11 a.m. A woman called police after she had been awakened by "loud exhaust pipes" from multiple vehicles and discovered pots and plants had been swiped from her front yard.

N. Coast Hwy - 500 Bl Interfering With an Emergency Call 6:40 p.m. As is routine protocol, officers responded to the location of a 9-1-1 hang-up. After an investigation on scene, Kendrick Lamar Edwards, 34, Glendale, Arizona, was arrested on a felony charge of interfering/destruction of an electronic device to stop an emergency call. Police said he had pulled the phone cord out of the wall when his girlfriend had dialed 9-1-1.

Broadway - 200 Block Resisting 11:41 p.m. Officers responded to Main Beach when it was reported that numerous men were fighting near the basketball courts. When they arrived, the fight had stopped and they were told that the main "instigator/combatant" had left on foot. Not long after that, a caller said a man on Broadway Place was yelling. On scene, officers were directed inside Broadway Liquor and they recognized the man as answering the description of the man that had been on Main Beach. When confronted, Melvin Omar Bruno, 31, Utah, became combative with officers and was arrested for resisting/ delaying/ obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor.
