California sculptor Edward Eyth holds the unique distinction of being the only living artist whose work is featured in this year's 75th annual Pageant of the Masters, "All the World's a Stage." Counselor Shifts Jobs, Named to New Post
After 19 years of service in various jobs for the Laguna Beach school district, Gretchen Ernsdorf was selected Friday to fill a newly created position, a second assistant principal at Laguna Beach High School. Laguna Beach's 12 and under girls age group water polo team won first place last weekend in a key tournament leading up to the National Junior Olympics. The John Hale Summer Championship tournament featured over 150 teams of various ages that competed in a dozen pools in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Full Story

Track Club Returns With Jr. Olympic Medals
Six Laguna athletes in the newly established Laguna Beach Track Club took home 10 medals after participating July 11-13 in the AAU West Coast Junior Olympics in Reno, Nev.
