Visiting Wildlife
Wildlife artist Chris Hoy and long E&E Animals co-founder Shannon Thompson on Wednesday shared with Sawdust Festival visitors some of the world's most exotic animals, a source of inspiration for Hoy's paintings. Children get up close and personal with a baby crocodile and an animal handler. Other visiting critters included an African wildcat and a raccoon. Full Story

Museum Celebrates Life of Legendary Local Artist
Leonard Kaplan Tribute, Aug. 20
The Laguna Art Museum will host a tribute evening entitled: "Leonard Kaplan: A Celebration of an Artful Life" on Aug. 20 from 6 - 10 p.m. The evening begins with drinks and hors d'oeuvres amidst a display of Kaplan pieces. At 7 p.m., a presentation on his life and art will be given. Full Story
