Shop Hosts Free Writer's Workshop

Quill Studios and Latitude 33 Bookshop will offer a free writing workshop called "Tell Your True Stories" on Thursday, Aug. 28, 5:45 p.m. to 8p.m. at the book shop, 311 Ocean Avenue in Laguna Beach.

Participants will learn how to begin writing about their life a free workshop. Through writing exercises, lecture, and handouts, wanna-be writers will shape initial ideas for stories to tell and how to craft them.

Bring a journal or buy one at the bookstore. This workshop previews the course "Writing Memoir," offered through Laguna Beach Community Services this fall.
