
Overdose Suspected in Victim Found Outside Hospital ER
Police investigators speculate a 24-year-old man suffered an accidental drug overdose at a nearby home and was left at South Coast Medical Center last week by one of the people involved in the incident. Four Youths Arrested after Vandalism Spree
Four Laguna Beach teenaged boys were arrested last Friday night on felony vandalism charges after damaging nine mailboxes and a police department radar trailer in the Top of the World area. Sgt. Laguna Woman Injured When Struck by SUV
Desi Hotchkiss, 49, of Laguna Beach, suffered broken bones and head injuries after being hit by a vehicle in a North Laguna crosswalk Tuesday evening. Police said the 6:32 accident happened just south of Aster Street where Cliff Drive merges with Coast Highway. Full Story
A Victim of Mistaken Identity Upset by Deputies' Actions
Sheriff's deputies shot taser darts into the bare chest of a Dana Point man awakened from his own bed after Laguna Beach police requested aid investigating an assault a week ago Thursday. The time was 11:23 p.m., according to a Laguna Beach police log entry from the sheriff's dispatcher notifying Laguna police that "the suspect is in custody. Full Story
