Beating Inquiry Now a Homicide Hunt
An Anaheim resident who was discovered severely beaten inside a Laguna Beach home late last month died Wednesday afternoon without regaining consciousness, police reported. Police had identified four suspects in the beating, who now face a homicide inquiry. Police have not identified the suspects, who have not been arrested. Full Story
On its 75th Anniversary, LBHS Gets a Blue Ribbon
The U.S. Education Department named Laguna Beach High School a Blue Ribbon school Wednesday under the federal No Child Left Behind program. LBHS Student Named a National Merit Semifinalist
Laguna Beach High School senior Blake Henderson has big plans for his future. That plan got a kick-start this week with the announcement of the National Merit Semifinalists for 8,200 scholarships. Henderson qualified amongst approximately 16,000 potential finalists by his PSAT score. In typical humble fashion, he declined to state his qualifying score. Full Story
