Fall Into the Habit of Clothes Recycling for a Cause

Local Boys State Their Commitment
The Laguna Beach American Legion Post 222 last month honored Laguna Beach High School seniors Kyle Jenkins and Dillon Pierce, who attended the Boys and Girls State Programs in June. The program was intended to counter Fascist-inspired camps of the '30s. A similar program for girls was established in 1938. Full Story

Community Shelters Those in Need
About 250 friends of Friendship Shelter raised funds during the second annual "Art of Getting Home" event at Seven Degrees on Sept. 18. Thirty-five original works of art were sold at auction.
