Squad Wins League Opener
The Breaker's frosh-soph football squad met the expectations of Coach Jonathon Todd and his staff in its first conference game versus Godinez High School with a 21-7 win. The team now has an overall record of 5-2 with a status of 1-0 in league play. The team played nearly a perfect game with only a few penalties. Full Story
Volleyball Alumni Invited to Get Back in the Game
This year's LBHS Girls Volleyball Alumni game is set for Nov. 6 at Dugger Gym. All women who have played on the school volleyball team are invited to participate in the game. The frosh/soph team will play the JV squad at 5 p.m. with the alumni/varsity match to follow at about 6:30. Full Story

Undermanned Breakers Come up Short in Irvine Race
With wide-spread sickness, mid-season aches and pains, and PSAT commitments taking their toll on Laguna's cross country squads, boys' Coach Dave Brobeck and girls' Coach Steve Lalim had limited resources to field the minimum five starters needed to post team scores in each of their seven races at last Saturday's Orange County Championships in Irvine Regional Park. Boys Water Polo The Breakers are now 10-9 on the season and 3-0 in league. Last Wednesday Laguna crushed Godinez 22-7 as 14 different Breakers scored in the league contest. The final league match will be Wed, Oct 29 at the local pool (3:15PM) when Laguna hosts a tough Costa Mesa squad for the league title. Full Story
