Glenneyre - 600 Block Grand Theft 5:34 p.m. A backpack containing a laptop and a camera with extra lenses valued at $5500 was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Cypress Drive - 400 Block Trespassing 9:25 p.m. Officers responded to the Unitarian Universalist property after receiving a call about a woman "…camping out…" there. On scene, Kathryn Lorayne Doe, 62, no fixed address, was arrested for illegal lodging. She was arrested there once again on Friday and charged with trespassing. Tuesday - October 28 S. Coast Hwy - 1200 Block Public Intoxication 10:12 p.m. David Joseph Gutierrez, 28, Fullerton, was arrested for public intoxication. Main Beach Public Intoxication 10:36 p.m. Leslie Renee Blough, 41, Laguna Beach, was taken into custody for 647F. Wednesday - October 29 N. Coast Hwy - 1400 Block Felony Warrant Arrest 4:16 p.m. Gary R. Gillette, 34, Laguna Beach, was arrested for an outstanding Harbor Court warrant with a felony charge of possession and transportation of marijuana for sales - bail: $50K. Thalia Street - 200 Block Juvenile with Tobacco 5:53 p.m. A patrol unit had to take evasive action to keep from hitting a skateboarder. When officers stopped to make contact, the 16-year-old was issued a citation for possession of tobacco and, we suspect, advised on skateboard safety. Thursday - October 30 Laguna Canyon Road - 2500 Block Felony Vandalism 4:22 a.m. An employee of a tow yard called 9-1-1 reporting that a man had kicked in the office door. The RP said the man had been told he could not use another person's credit card in order to have his vehicle released. Police arrived and arrested Michigan resident Brent Nowak, 28, for felony malicious mischief because the damage to the premises exceeded $400. Poplar Street - 500 Block Vandalism 11:11 a.m. A homeowner discovered graffiti on a sidewall. Temple Hills Drive - 2700 Block Drug Arrest 12:03 p.m. Damon Kelly Heard, 32, of Huntington Beach was pulled over for an expired registration. Police said his actions quickly became suspicious leading to a drug search. Heard was arrested when methamphetamine was found and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Broadway Bus Depot Public Intoxication 8:04 p.m. Mike Torrez Romero, 40, Compton, was arrested for public intoxication. Mountain Road - 200 Block Warrant Arrest 9:27 p.m. Oceanside resident Willie Cleveland Jones, 60, was arrested for an outstanding Harbor Court traffic warrant. Friday - October 31 Glenneyre Parking Structure Grand Theft 8:10 a.m. The city coin vaults were taken from two machines in the upper lot. Police said there did not appear to be any forced entry and the loss was $745. N. Coast Hwy & Broadway Place Warrant Arrest 12:42 p.m. Charles Neil, 45, no fixed address, was taken into custody for a Harbor Court warrant charging FTA possession of under an ounce of marijuana. Ocean Avenue & Beach Street Probation Violation 1:35 p.m. Police detained Joel A. Murphy, 50, no fixed address, for misdemeanor marijuana possession and learned he was on active probation. His probation officer was called and Murphy was held without bail for probation violation. Three Arch Bay (N. LaSenda) Trespassing 4:17 p.m. Someone entered a vacant home via a side door. Forest Avenue - 300 Block Public Intoxication 11:43 p.m. Illinois resident Samuel A. Sargent, 25, was taken into custody for public intoxication. Saturday - November 1 Brooks Street - 100 Block Auto Theft 1:51 a.m. A woman flagged down a passing patrol unit to report that her 2000 Mercedes C230 was missing. She explained that it had been on Brooks Street. The officer took a report and continued to patrol the area. At 2:36 a.m., the same officer received a LoJack hit and found the stolen car in the 1400 block of Catalina. The keys were inside - but there was damage done to the outside door lock and the inside had been ransacked. Nyes Place & Ashton Drive Defrauding an Innkeeper 3:15 a.m. Five men flagged down a cab in the 600 block of South Coast Hwy and agreed to pay a $25 fare to be taken to the 100 block of Nyes Place. Upon arrival there, the men said they only had $9, which the cabbie refused. The men jumped out of the cab and into their own vehicle and drove off up Nyes Place. The taxi driver provided police with the tag number. S. Coast Hwy - 1300 Block Vandalism 8:11 a.m. Two more pumpkins were pushed over and smashed at Laguna Nursery. S. Coast Hwy - 400 Block Vandalism 8:22 a.m. C0804145 N. Coast Hwy & Irvine Cove Warrant Arrest 11:24 a.m. Huntington Beach resident Eric Fox, 39, was arrested during a traffic stop on a Central Court warrant with a charge of violating the terms of a criminal court agreement. Sunday - November 2 Marilyn Drive - 30700 Block Vandalism 7:32 a.m. Obama signs were burned in the front yard of the RP's home. Other Obama signs in the area were also burned. Catalina Street - 1100 Block Vandalism, vehicle 8:27 a.m. An anarchy symbol was keyed on a car overnight. Laguna Canyon Rd & Canyon Acres Dr Vandalism, vehicle 10:19 a.m. Someone used a marker to draw on a car overnight. Cliff Drive - 200 Block Petty Theft 8:17 p.m. While in the process of moving, the RP saw a female drive away with a wrapped tiffany lamp that had been placed outside. The RP said the suspect was driving an older model dark green Mercedes. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
