As planned I loaded my bike on the 10:01 train for Auxerre. It was a new RER train (local train) and I was surprised I could load my bike in my compartment instead of in a special baggage section. The scenery along the river with the cathedral in the background was breathtaking.

Club to Showcase Women's Art

Grand Jurors Wanted for a Year's Service
The Superior Court of California is seeking qualified citizens to apply for the 2009- 2010 Orange County Grand Jury. Deadline for applications is Jan. 9. Nineteen Orange County residents will be selected. Service as a grand juror requires a full-time commitment for a year, beginning July 1. Full Story

Time Reset for Laughter Club
The Laguna Laughter Club has changed the times of their meetings due to the end of daylight savings time. Going forward, the free laughter exercise classes are now scheduled at 7:45 a.m. Sunday through Friday, with a Saturday meeting at 4:30 p.m. Participants meet on the sand at the northernmost end of Main Beach and by Bird Rock if the tide is low.
