Temporary mobile homes in the canyon for landslide victims
Editor: Although we were unable to be at the recent [Nov 18] city council meeting, we wanted to thank Mrs. Philips, the residents of Canyon Acres, the city and the city council for their continued support. Expand city's Enviro Committee and bring back Tom Osborne
Editor: My biggest wish for the new City Council is to expand the Environmental Committee to 9 members and re-appoint Tom Osborne to this committee. We need him to pursue his dedicated, energetic, tireless work to putting into real actions the recommendations in the US Mayors' Climate Protection Agreement that the City Council unanimously adopted on Feb. 6, 2007. The LB minority view of Prop 8
Editor: I am one of the 32% in Laguna Beach who voted for not legally calling "Gay Marriage" - Marriage. I am willing to listen to your arguments, but I really would like someone to answer some key points. Point 1. Editor, I was chatting with a Libertarian friend of mine about President-elect Barrack Obama II and I said that all the change sounded like the ideas of Clement Attlee. Then we both giggled knowing that most of our Democrat friends wouldn't have any idea what we were talking about. Full Story
