Coast Hwy - 1300 Block Saturday - 3:50 a.m. Kyle Quinn, 26, Long Beach (with a prior) Broadway - 200 Block Saturday - 11:18 p.m. James Ross, 43 Incident Reports: Monday - December 1 Allview Terrace - 500 Block Burglary, vehicle 9:27 a.m. A window was smashed - a backpack was stolen. Laguna Beach High School Burglary 2:47 p.m. A digital camera and a school cheer shirt were taken from a student's locked locker. Bolsana Drive - 600 Block Burglary, vehicle 3:21 p.m. A window of an Isuzu was smashed. A black gym bag was taken. Laguna Canyon Rd & Canyon Acres Juvenile Contact 9:47 p.m. A white Ford Focus was stopped for speeding. The 17-year-old male driver was unlicensed. He was cited and brought to the police station along with his 14-year-old female passenger. Both were later released to their parents. Tuesday - December 2 Broadway & Coast Hwy Warrant Arrest 12:06 a.m. An officer recognized Laguna Beach resident Brock Sumner, 22 and checked to confirm that he had a South Court DUI warrant. Sumner was arrested with bail set at $15,000. He had also been reported as a missing person by a relative a week earlier. Brooks Street - 100 Block Warrant Arrest 9:21 a.m. Wants and warrants checked during a traffic stop led to the arrest of Marie Anne Ostos, 29, Aliso Viejo, for a Harbor Court traffic warrant. The Club Drive - 300 Block Grand Theft 10:56 a.m. A man reported that his wedding ring valued at $1800 had been taken as he worked out in a gym in the complex. Catalina Street - 1000 Block Felony Warrant 8:40 p.m. Michael Ray Hughes, 43, Laguna Beach, was arrested during a traffic stop for two warrants from Central Court. One was for no bail narcotics possession and the other, a misdemeanor, was for possession of drug paraphernalia. Forest Avenue - 200 Block Warrant Arrest 10:50 p.m. Nathan Harvey, 32, Laguna Beach, was taken into custody on a South Court warrant for public intoxication. Wednesday - December 3 Skyline Drive - 1400 Block Grand Theft 9:23 a.m. A large aloe plant was removed from the RP's front yard sometime overnight. Coast Hwy - 31600 Block Drinking in Public 3:48 p.m. Police made contact with a man who had been causing a disturbance. Jose De La Torre Lopez, 52, no fixed address, wasn't deemed to be intoxicated but was arrested on a city municipal code charge of consumption of alcohol in public. N. Coast Hwy & Jasmine Street Public Intoxication 8:14 p.m. Curtis Grant Abbott, 44, no fixed address, was deemed to be intoxicated and was arrested for 647F. Thursday - December 4 Ralphs Market Burglary, commercial 11:36 a.m. Store employees reported that a man was being held who had stolen a bottle of vodka. On scene, police arrested Jeffrey Carmichael, 49, no fixed address, for felony commercial burglary. Cozumel - 200 Block Fraud Noon. The RP learned that an unknown person had used her ATM/ Debit card to access her bank account. Ocean Avenue - 200 Block Parole Hold 12:06 p.m. Officers took Timothy Davis, 47, no fixed address, into custody without bail for a Dept. of Justice parole violation want. S. Coast Hwy - 600 Bl Resisting Arrest; Interfering 12:14 p.m. Officers responded to reports of a man causing a disturbance primarily by yelling epithets and threats at people. Douglas Du Maurier, 61, no fixed address was somewhat less than cooperative with officers and was arrested for resisting/delaying/ obstructing an officer and interfering/intimidating a witness. Glenneyre & Calliope Street Warrant Arrest 10:17 p.m. Darrin Lawrence Witt, 27 of Santa Ana was arrested for an outstanding South Court DUI warrant with bail of $10,000. Friday - December 5 N. Coast Hwy - 100 Block Delaying an Officer; Warrants 10:36 a.m. Police questioned a man who had been causing a disturbance. They learned that he had given them a phony name when they discovered a recent citation that had been issued to him. When police informed him, he became aggravated about being "found out" according to police. He was charged with delaying an officer and three misdemeanor warrants he tried to avoid. Saturday - December 6 Coast Hwy - 31900 Block Vandalism 3:09 p.m. Someone damaged the RP's gate. Three Arch Bay (N. Vista de Catalina) Vandalism 11:12 p.m. The RP looked outside after hearing people laughing and discovered that Christmas decorations had been destroyed. The RP said it was too dark to see the suspects. Sunday - December 7 Chateau Way - 2800 Block Grand Theft 12:48 p.m. Landscape lighting and related transformers valued at $6000 were stolen.
