Rohrer Fine Art will host an artists' reception Saturday, May 10, from 6-8 p.m. for the group exhibition "Nature Morte/Dead Nature."
The show features contemporary artists Penelope Gottlieb, Kaoru Mansour, Melvin Martinez, Christina Lei Rodriguez, Andrew Taylor, and Timothy Tompkins, who are scheduled to be on site to discuss and explore the various nuances of their respective works.
Open to the public May 10 - Jul. 6, the exhibit examines society's disregard for nature portrayed through various traditional still-life genre interpretations. "Nature Morte" offers a unique 'green issues' perspective and its potential affect on humanity and its viewpoint.
