Walk Aliso tomorrow then scope it May 19

All citizens should attend and express their opinions at the Aliso Creek Scoping meeting, which will be held Monday, May 19, 2008 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers in City Hall. Let your views be heard.

A good way to develop one's opinions is to go to the Walk- Around Saturday, May 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. and get a better understanding of what a special place the Aliso Creek Canyon is, and to understand the redevelopment that the Athens Group (Montage) has proposed.

The worst case situation is that some day in the future Laguna Beach will be a company town owned by the Athens Group Montage. Even I may be working for them, compliantly spouting their positions. So this may be one of the last times we can speak out and let our views be heard.

I hope to see everybody at the Aliso Creek Canyon Walk- Around 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday starting at the Aliso Creek Inn, and then the scoping meeting on Monday, May 19.
