Jumping the Gun For Charity

The Laguna Beach High School Running Club will hold their first annual Jog-o-Rama fundraiser on Saturday, May 10, and its members invite the public to support their goal of raising money for the less fortunate, while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

For one hour, Running Club members and other participants will run, walk, or skip as many laps as they can around Guyer Field. Please support your neighborhood runners in their first charity fundraiser by sponsoring athletes per lap or through a flatdonation and by cheering them on as they circle the field. Benefitingcharities are the Laguna Friendship Shelter, the Red Cross, and the Disabled American Veteran's Hospital in Long Beach.

Donations can be deposited with any Running Club member and will be collected on May 16, the Friday following the event.
