Cruise Is a Time-Out for Mom
No kids, no husbands, and no News obligations will be the highlights of a three-hour, all-inclusive mini-cruise for moms hosted by Parenting OC magazine on May 18 and departing from Newport Harbor.
This second "Pampered Lady Cruise" will be held aboard the yacht Endeavor and will offer moms the chance to relax and be the ones who are pampered for a change.
Guests can nibble appetizers and sip champagne while indulging in spa services that include Thai yoga, spray tanning, teeth whitening, Botox and skin analysis, eyebrow waxing, paraffin hand treatments, wardrobe consultations and henna body art.
Cruise host Cynthia P. Jenkins, Parenting OC's "Sugar Mama" columnist and a Laguna Beach resident and mother of two, noted the "real Saturday night kind of energy" evoked by guests dancing and singing Karaoke. "It's a fun time-out for moms. They're just letting loose and having a good time."
