How to Avoid Desperate Housewife Syndrome

The Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine at UC Irvine's 6th Annual Women's Wellness Day conference will be held on May 10 from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Titled "Stress in the City," this year's conference will present the latest information and practical tools to help attendees to de-stress. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in "experiential sessions" including regulating stress through guided imagery, creative solutions to stress such as laughter, yoga, Tai Chi, reflexology, and interactive drumming.

Held at The Island Hotel, 690 Newport Center Dr., in Newport Beach, the cost for attending "Stress in the City" is $145.

Proceeds will support UC Irvine's Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine, which is dedicated to advancing patient care through education, evidence-based research, and applied integrative medical therapies.
