Seniors Set Sights on Driving, Scoring

Seniors in Laguna Beach are setting up for a summer full of activities.

The city's senior services is now offering mixed doubles senior tennis. A group will meet every Wed. through Jun. 18 from 8 - 11 a.m. at the Alta Laguna Park tennis courts, 3300 Alta Laguna Park. There is no charge to participate. Signups are first come, first serve at the courts. Space is limited. Bring your own tennis balls. For more information call (949) 464-9535.

An eight- hour AARP Mature Driver Safety Program is being offered May 20 and 21 from 1 - 5 p.m. in the lower level of the Laguna Beach Senior Center. The refresher course is especially designed for drivers age 50 and over.

The class is $10 per person and checks should be made payable to AARP. Payment and sign-ups must be received at least one week prior to the class start date. Call (949) 497-2441.
