Threads Bind an Exhibit of Quilts

Linda Jahraus' quilt is among those on exhibit.

Wells Fargo Bank in Laguna Beach is currently hosting a quilt show featuring 11 local quilters. Quilts range in size from small wall hangings to queen size bed covers and are as varied as the women themselves.

Exhibiting are Millie Goldschmidt, Terry Hustwick, Angela Irish, Martha Jager, Linda Jahraus, Maureen Killackey, Carol Nilsen, Kathy Ranabargar, Claudia Redfern, Nancy Wade and Carolyn Winfield.

Stitched together by longtime Laguna Beach resident and quilter Redfern, the 11 members of the newly formed "Loose Threads/Sew Inspired" quilt group range widely in terms of quilting experience, personal interest, and artistic focus. They meet often to exchange ideas, critique each other's work, and generally thrive on shared creative energies.
