Florence Klein

Florence Zucca Klein, age 103, mother of Madeleine Peterson, grandmother of Juliana Clark and C. Patrick Peterson, and greatgrandmother of Daniel, Emma, Isabella and Hailey, and devoted wife of Col. Frederick W. Klein, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Jan. 15, 2009.

A longtime resident of Leisure World and more recently Villa Valencia, she was also a member of St. Nicholas Parish and ran their library for many years. While a Leisure World resident, she was an avid traveler, bridge player, golfer and, along with her husband, a member of the dance club.

She has been the North Star of the family and will be terribly missed.

Funeral mass will be at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Laguna Beach on Friday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m.

Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest. All are welcome.
