Writing Her Own Hoop Dream
Laguna Beach High School sophomore Emily Writer broke a school record for the Breakers girls' basketball team, scoring 51 points at the Costa Mesa game on Thursday, Jan. 22. "This is one of my greatest accomplishments. I wanted to achieve 40 points by senior year and I got 11 points over it sophomore year!" said Emily. Full Story
Boys Basketball The Breakers continued to steamroll the Orange Coast League with a pair of home wins last week to finish the first round of league play with a perfect 4-0 record and a 16-5 overall mark.
