Helping Glean The Neighborhood
This time of year, backyard citrus trees are full of fruit, but much of it remains unpicked and falls to the ground unconsumed. An urban gleaning project has begun to collect this fruit and distribute it to individuals and families in need. Full Story

Rotary Club Hears Health Talk
At the Laguna Beach Rotary Club's noon meeting on Feb. 6 medical student fellow Parker Duncan will speak on universal health care. Duncan will discuss what health care reforms and pose questions about the business model. The club meets in Hotel Laguna's Catalina Room at noon. Full Story
Service Set for Composer
The public is invited to a memorial service planned for musician, composer and record promoter George Harrison Russell on Saturday, Feb. 7, which would have been his 90th birthday. Sailing Away
