Men Offered Free Health Seminar

Laguna Beach Seniors host a free health seminar, "The 50,000 Mile Health Check-up," geared toward men, at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 23, at the Susi Q Senior, Center located at 380 Third St.

Dr. Thomas Bent, medical director of the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, will offer a health screening and monitoring recommendations that will contribute to a high performance body into the later years of life.

Topics such as high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke, colon cancer and prostate cancer will be discussed. He will explain the health risks and the benefits of regular blood and cholesterol screening.
