Laguna Beach Historical Society board members will describe historical images from the Tom Pulley Postcard Collection on March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Laguna Beach City Hall.

Board member Eric Jessen and treasurer Gene Felder will provide the commentary.

"We had the great fortune of meeting Tom Pulley when he came to do research at the Murphy-Smith Bungalow," Felder said. When Pulley was asked if the society could make copies of his postcards depicting Isaac Frazee's 1921 Peace Pipe Pageant, "Kitshi Manido," he told them he has 700 Laguna Beach postcards.

"He has kept us busy," Felder said, scanning images of former piers, hotels, and businesses.

The Historical Society Murphy-Smith Bungalow is located at 278 Ocean Avenue and is open to the public at nocharge every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to greet visitors and should call 939- 7257.
