The Laguna Art Museum undergoes a transformation this Saturday into an unusual art and dining experience for its top donors during the fourth Palette to Palate event featuring the culinary team from Montage's Studio restaurant, Duckhorn wine original work by 10 invited artists.

The $500 per person tickets were offered to the museum's highest level donors and is sold out.

Arriving guests will be welcomed in one gallery with hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and selected wines, enjoy the sounds of a live guitar trio and take in a preview of a planned fall exhibition, the first in 15 years from the museum's permanent collection.

Event chairman Elyse Caraco Miller will signal the end of the reception with welcoming words, ushering guests into the adjoining gallery, revealing the full spectrum of the artists' creations.

Each year, a different slate of artists is invited to participate, creating a backdrop to complement the dinner to follow. This year's artists array of work will employ various mediums such as paint, wood, glass, metal, and ceramics. The fourcourse menu will be paired with wine presented by Duckhorn's winemaker Bill Nancarrow and president Alex Ryan.

Participating artists include Marlo Bartels, Deborah Davidson, Jorg Dubin, Christopher Jeffries, Francis Livingston, Mery Lynn McCorkle, Nobuhito Nishigawara, John Rose, Allison Schulnik and Jennifer Shaw.
