Forest Avenue will be alive with the sound of music from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p m. on Saturday, June 20, when the Laguna Beach Sister Cities Association sponsors their second annual "Fête de la Musique." Laguna Beach Live! presents The Kristin Korb Trio on June 24 in the 6 to 8 p m. Jazz Wednesdays series in the outdoor Rose Garden of Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Highway. Mural Contest to Spruce Up Public Restroom
Artists who live, work or exhibit in Laguna Beach are eligible to enter a mural competition for the public restrooms on Forest Lane. The mural will go on the upper walls between the entry doors of the restrooms, which face the City parking area between Ocean and Forest Avenue. The budget range is $8,000 to $10,000. Full Story

Harry Chandler's Photography Book Captures California Dreamers

Harry Brandt Chandler, author of the photography book "Dreamers in Dream City," will appear at Laguna Beach Books at 4 p m. on Saturday, June 20, to discuss his book and sign copies.
