DUI Arrests

200 block and Laguna Ave. Traffic Stop - DUI 1:34 a m. on Sunday Andrew Markley, 23, of San Juan Capistrano was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and cited.

Broadway Street and North Coast Highway - DUI 11:43 a m. La Palma resident Thomas K. Dehardt, 43, was arrested for an alleged DUI. Police allege he was driving outbound on Broadway, hit a motorcycle and continued on.

Canyon Acres and Laguna Canyon Road - Traffic Stop - DUI - 11:56 p m. Lake Forest resident Natalie Fraire was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and cited.

Monday, June 8 3000 block and Zell Drive - Grand Theft - 6:02 a m. Sometime after 11 p m. on Sunday, GPS equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen from a Honda Pilot left possibly unlocked in a driveway.

30000 block and South Coast Highway - Trespassing - 7:40 a m. A fully enclosed tent was occupying a portion of the beach on private property.

10 block and N. Callecita - Petty Theft - 11:16 a.m. Checks and credit cards were taken from an unlocked car.

South Coast Highway at Tablerock Beach - foot patrol - 2:57 p m. During foot patrol, officers came across two nude beach-goers erasing tan lines.

Tuesday, June 9

400 block and Arroyo Chico - Property 12:17 p m. A Laguna Beach resident turned in several guns for destruction, including a handgun, rifle, shotgun and a pellet gun.

31597T Bluff Drive and Tablerock Beach - Possession - 3:33 p m. Nicole Osborn, 21, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mission Viejo resident Anthony Quintanilla, 20, were cited for alleged marijuana possession after an officer saw a couple smoking a pipe in a cove.

31121 Coast Highway at Aliso Beach - Public Intoxication - 4:27 p m. Idaho resident Steven Hemming, 23, was arrested and cited for alleged public intoxication.

30000 and South Coast Highway - Drug Involvement - 6:46 p m. Baldemar Bravo-Garcia, 25, of San Juan Capistrano, was arrested on suspicion of possession, transportation and sale of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, June 10

4th and N. Vista de Catalina - grand theft - 7:41 a.m. A Rolex watch reported stolen from a person's truck.

Thursday, June 11

363 Glenneye St. at Laguna Public Library - Suspicious -10:25 a m. Digging was temporarily halted when workers discovered seven bone fragments while excavating in the back alleyway. An examination by the coroner and lab pathologists determined the bones were not human and workers were authorized to resume work.

3000 Block and Alta Laguna Blvd. - welfare check - 3:01 p.m. A kitten was reported stuck in the wheel of equipment on a vacant lot. Police could not re-contact the person who originated the call by phone.

South Coast Highway and Vista del Sol - traffic collision - 3:40 p m. An SUV and car were involved in a collision north of Vista del Sol. Apparently there were no injuries.

Friday, June 12

1367 Circle Way at Crescent Bay North - Drinking in public- 6:23 a m. Jacob Mount and Andrew Baker, both 21 and Anaheim residents, were arrested for outstanding warrants after police were called about men drinking alcohol at Crescent Bay Beach.

31872 South Coast Highway at South Coast Medical Center - vehicle burglary - 7:44 a m. A window was smashed in an SUV in the parking structure and GPS equipment valued at $2,000 stolen.

300 block and Y Place - Found Property - 2:28 p m. A backpack containing marijuana was left in front of a home and turned into police.

400 block and Linden St. - Suspicious Activity - 3:27 p m. Neighbors called police about unauthorized people occupying a nearby house, but authorities fine no one inside. Code enforcement officials were told the absentee owner is out of the country.

1000 block and Eleanor Lane - Municipal code violation. Citation issued for use of a leaf blower.

900 South Coast Highway at Frank's Motors - Possession - 10:22 p m. Mission Viejo resident Jesus Gudino, 19, was allegedly in possession of marijuana and cited.

Saturday, June 13

Montage Resort Drive and South Coast highway - Traffic Stop drug and alcohol involvement 1:15 a m. A 17-year-old juvenile of San Clemente was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.

St. Ann's Drive and Park Ave. - drug involvement - traffic stop - 9:54 p m. Isaac Zoller, 22, of Laguna Beach was cited for allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance and a prescription drug without a prescription.
