Art Students Draw Benefits from Exchange Program

Laguna College of Art & Design students marked the completion of their first year of study at the Florence Academy of Art at a graduation and awards ceremony on June 5. The students, who were studying abroad as part of a cultural exchange program between the two schools, received certificates of completion, and prizes were awarded to the best drawing, painting, sculpture and composition of the year.

Junior William Zwick completed the intensive drawing program and received his diploma with four other students in the program. In addition, LCAD alumnus Nicholas Enevoldsen, who began attending the Florence Academy full-time last fall, was selected to receive a merit tuition scholarship for the upcoming academic year.
