Backlash Over the Homeless

    Editor, Thanks for publishing my last opinion piece a few weeks back about the homeless in Laguna. The town's response was over overwhelmingly positive from the feedback I got. Stimulus Bypassing Local Stores

    Editor, I've worked in Laguna Beach for 11 years and have been living here for two years now. I love this place. It truly is a special town and I want it to stay that way. During my two years as a resident, I've seen the end of the Cedar Creek Restaurant, which was a fabulous local hangout. Then Tippycanoe left town, another classic Laguna great. Full Story
Of Community Lost

    Editor, This is in response to Kirk Swayne's letter regarding the disappearance of "community" in Laguna Beach. Moral and ethical values, together with a sense of "community," built our nation. Good Reading in Vietnam Journal

    Editor, I just finished reading, "Through the Eyes of a Tiger, An Army Flight Surgeon's Vietnam Journal" written by Laguna Beach's own Jim Hall. Heck, I have never addressed Jim as doctor. The book is a captivating story of a brand new medical doctor sent to Vietnam for a year 1962- 63. This is early in the U.S. Full Story
