Inviting Adults to Get Creative
Studio Arts Gallery is hosting a free 90-minute art workshop for adults at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, offered by artist Claudia Olsen and gallery owner Rebecca Barber. Capturing Tide Pools on Paper
Register now for the art class “Tide Pool Journaling,” to be held at 2:30 p.m. at Treasure Island beach on Sunday, Oct. 18. Instructor September McGee will teach participants to make sketches of tiny fish, snails and crabs. Artist Finds ‘Common Ground’ on East Coast

Former 'Suit’ Swaps Flowcharts for Landscapes
The works of Laguna Hills artist Al Weingartner will be featured at Artist Eye Laguna Gallery through Oct. 31, and a reception for the artist will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17.
