Student Reaches Semifinal Round in Tournament
Laguna Beach High School’s varsity singles player Benito Romeo competed in the boys 16 division at the Manhattan Beach Junior Open on Oct. 10 and 11.
After defeating local favorite Matthew Sumen 6-2, 7-5 in the first round, Benito Romeo won over second seeded Kelly Dickson from Temecula, winning 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Full Story
