Friendly Rivalry Fuels a Food Fight and Benefit

Its Austin v. Culverhouse at the Lumberyard restaurant on Monday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. in a benefit for SchoolPower, the local public education foundation.

The delectable dishes that are the favorite of high school principal Don Austin will go plate to plate against the favorite fare of Thurston Middle School’s principal Joanne Culverhouse.

Patrons can enjoy the threecourse dinner menus specially prepared for school supporters by Lumberyard’s chef, Armando Ortega.

Thanks to the generosity of Lumberyard’s owner, Cary Redfearn, who will donate much of the costs of the event, good friends and a fun rivalry will help SchoolPower reach its annual campaign goal to assist Laguna Beach schools and kids.

For a limited time, early bird tickets are available for the Austin v. Culverhouse dinner at $80 per person, $10 off the price at the door.
