Cassill became the all-around Level 6 champion at the OC Challenge Gymnastics meet in Costa Mesa, where her Team OC competed against 10 other Southern California gyms. Cassill won medals for her floor routine, where she placed first; in the vault, where she placed second; and for her bars routines, where she placed second, as well.

Cassill’s wins qualify her to compete in the California sectionals, which will be held later this year.

On the same day, Hamilton won the 14 and under division of the Safe Passage Fall Classic Tennis Tournament at the Home Depot Center in Carson. Teague’s next tournament will be the Orange County Open in Anaheim, where he will play both singles and doubles with Paul Solomon, another Laguna Beach high school student.
