Be the First to Judge the Work of OC Playwrights
Gallimaufry Performing Arts, in association with the Orange County Playwrights Alliance, presents the second annual Laguna Beach New Play Festival. New plays will be presented in script-in-hand, staged readings at the Forum Theatre on successive Saturdays, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14, starting at noon each day.
The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Nov. 7: Noon, “Murielle’s Big Date” by Kenneth La Salle of Anaheim; 2 p.m., “Freed” by Erica Bennett of Fullerton; and 4 p.m., “A High Concept Killing” by Donna Bader of Laguna Beach.
Saturday, Nov. 14: Noon, “Inside My Father’s Apple Tree” by Mark Piatelli of Santa Ana; 2 p.m., “Hard” by Eric Eberwein of Huntington Beach; and 4 p.m., “The Troubles on 42nd Street” by Jordan R. Young of Orange.
