Gary Gompf

Gary Joe Gompf, 73, of Laguna Niguel, passed away on Oct. 31, after a long illness.

Gompf was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Logan, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Jennie Gompf. He graduated from Logan High School and attended Ohio State University.

Gompf is survived by his daughter Judith of Pismo Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Bell of Lancaster, Ohio, and Kathryn Hurt of Centennial, Colo.; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.

As he wished, Gompf’s ashes are being retired to the Pacific Ocean.

A memorial celebration is scheduled at the Laguna Beach Canyon Club at 2 p.m. on SunYoung day, Nov. 22.
