Kramer

Dec. 25, 1996 – Nov. 4, 2009

Kramer, the canine son of Duke Sr. and Sasha, a loyal companion, best friend, object of affection and source of joy to his human mom, Desiree Rudolph, left a paw print of love on the hearts of everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He died Nov. 4.

Kramer, who frequented the path around Crescent Bay Park and the sand at Crescent Bay, was sure to acknowledge anyone he met and shower them with affection. If not out walking or playing on the sand, he was sure to be found at his front gate, waiting for love and treats from all the passers by, including the UPS man.

Kramer’s mission appeared to be touching as many lives, licking as many hands and earning as many smiles as possible. No doubt he succeeded.

Many canine friends, in particular, Brady the Beagle, survive Kramer, who rarely barked and trusted everyone.

In Kramer’s early years, he would run in the sand chasing the ball and birds, sunrise and sunset, with his brother Duke, who died four years earlier.

In his later years, sorely missing his brother, Kramer was content to lounge in the backyard with his human mom, staring at the sea and sharing sunsets. She cherishes every moment they spent together.

Kramer, undoubtedly a part of the fabric of Crescent Bay, must be once again at play with his brother, happily and without pain.

He will continue to be missed by his human mom and those who knew and loved him.
