Gratitude for Kicking Up the Sawdust
Editor,
As the daughter of Billy Horner and the daughter-in law of Jay Grant, I would really like to thank you for addressing the unrest at the Sawdust (“Dissent at Sawdust Stirs Up Artists,” Jan. 22). Thank you for looking into these issues. Full Story

I can’t afford that much but I am sending in $50 to add to the pot, and I believe all the people who can’t imagine a July 4 without fireworks will be willing to donate to the cause. Full Story
Am I Missing Something?
Editor,
As we moved from 1999 to 2000, and then again, when we moved from 2009 to 2010, commentaries circulated to the effect that no, this did not mark the decade’s beginning. Rather, the line went, the decade actually begins in 2011. Full Story
